4 Weeks to a More Organized Home: Day 10

Today was pillow day in my recent crafting bonanza. And day 10 of my 4 Weeks to a More Organized Home Challenge.

1. Get dressed in something that makes you feel great

Today that’s a maroon J Crew jersey dress

2. Dust all ceiling fans and clean all light fixtures in your house. Check for burned out light bulbs and replace.

I outsourced this job to Terry

3. Set the timer for at least 15 minutes and do something you really enjoy and that relaxes and rejuvenates you. If you need ideas, here are a few: read, write, call a friend, pray, exercise, bake, play with your children, laugh with your husband, stop by the bookstore and browse the book selection, work in the garden, or take a nap! Take some time to just stop and enjoy life today!

Today, that meant making those pillows and cleaning up craftageddon that my living room had turned in to. Using old tee-shirts and a dress, Terry helped me to make a series of pillows based on my I Love New York tee-shirt pillow to decorate our basic Ikea sofa. Below are the finished pillows. They help to add a little colour to the house and cost less than £15 for the lot. Thoughts?

All of these pillows except for the two blue & white on the far left used to be items of clothing in our wardrobe
